The Family Philanthropic Adventure ~ Connecting Families, Changing Lives
“How wonderful that no one need wait a single moment to improve the world.” -- Anne Frank
Are you ready for a real adventure?
The Family Philanthropic Adventure has been built to equip you and your family for an adventure into the transformational world of philanthropy—the art and science of intelligently giving money and other resources to worthwhile causes in your community—or around the world.
This toolkit will guide your family along a learning journey with seven steps and seven optional enrichment activities. You’ll proceed at your own pace. The whole process could be completed in as little as a couple of hours or you could take several weeks.
Along the way, you’ll learn about yourself and the other members of your family group. You’ll discover there are many outstanding organizations in your area that are doing wonderful things and who need your help to do even more. You’ll apply a proven process to assure that your charitable dollars are wisely and thoughtfully invested.
Most importantly, you’ll find the joy that comes from giving from the heart and looking outside yourself. You’ll come alive to new possibilities for making a difference.
This adventure is certain to enrich your life. Again and again.
Note: even though this is designed for families, the process will work for almost any type of group. Experiment and see how much fun giving can be!
